The Campus

The University campus is situated next to Lake Orr in the Burleigh Forest area of the Robina suburb. It is less than 3km inland from the beautiful beaches of Burleigh Heads and Miami on the Gold Coast. The spectacular rainforest of the hinterland is only a further 4km inland. The facilities include a rowing course within the adjacent lakes and waterways which link with the extensive canal system of the City of Gold Coast.

All facilities are within easy walking distance and include food outlets, a bookshop and post office, printing and photocopying service, a physiotherapy practice and several sporting venues. The Fitness Centre includes a gymnasium, a basketball stadium, tennis and squash courts, a sauna, a soccer field and a football (Rugby) oval as well as a heated outdoor olympic swimming pool with spa and beach volleyball court The campus was designed by Australian master planner, Daryl Jackson, to highlight its natural environment and location.

The sandstone structures are not only eyecatching but designed to stand the test of time. Outstanding architecture is featured in the major buildings and their surrounds:
